LG House – Cladding Replacement Works

Overview The Local Government Association of South Australia (the LGA) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the replacement of external cladding at LG House, South Australia (the Works). The Tenderer shall provide the Works in accordance with the Specifications contained within Section D. About The Local Government Association of South Australia (LGA SA) is seeking tenders from qualified and experienced contractors for external cladding remediation works at LG House, located at 148 Frome Street, Adelaide. Following a formal building assessment and risk treatment strategy commissioned in 2025, which involved sample extractions across the structure, the remediation project is structured across five (5) distinct zones. Scope The scope includes: Replacement of external cladding at LG House in accordance with the Specifications contained within Section D Delivery of external wall remediation works across five (5) distinct zones Delivery of the Works to ensure full structural, fire safety, and aesthetic integrity for the four-storey commercial office building, its tenanted upper levels, ground-floor operations, and surrounding public realm interfaces Contract Terms and Conditions The LGA SA will enter into an Agreement for Works with the successful Tenderer Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A mandatory site and industry briefing will be held in person for LGAP 26066 - LG House – Cladding Replacement Works.
