Overview The City of Holdfast Bay invites tenders from suitably qualified building contractors for the construction of the Bindarra Reserve Public Amenities Upgrade at 144 Esplanade, Brighton SA 5048. Scope The project generally includes: Site establishment and project management Protection of existing structures and paving Demolition and removal of existing Exeloo internal wall panels, ceilings, fixtures and services Concrete slab breakout and modifications Hydraulic service alterations and reconnections Electrical works including lighting and controls Construction of new internal and external wall systems Ceiling construction, waterproofing and tiling Supply and installation of sanitary fixtures and fittings Installation of accessible facilities compliant with AS 1428.1 Installation of stainless steel doors and hardware Testing and commissioning Provision of as-constructed documentation Practical Completion and handover Maintenance of safe public access around the site and minimisation of disruption to reserve users, as the Works are to be undertaken within an active public reserve Provision of all labour, materials, plant, supervision, transport, craneage and associated services necessary to complete the works Contract Terms and Conditions Defects liability obligations apply Instructions to Tenderers The Principal seeks to engage one Contractor for the complete scope of works but reserves the right to apportion work if considered advantageous.
