Overview Berri Barmera Council is seeking a contractor for the Bruno Bay Boat Ramp Facilities Upgrade, forming part of the Department for Environment and Water (DEW) Constraints Program. About The DEW Constraints Program is being undertaken to reduce flood risk and improve the resilience of key community infrastructure. The existing boat ramp and associated facilities are constrained by flood vulnerability, with elements at risk of inundation and damage during high river or flood events. The Bruno Bay Facility is a designated emergency access point, crucial for facilitating rapid response during times of crisis. Located in a strategic area, it provides direct access to the water, allowing for quick deployment of rescue operations. Purpose This project will lift and upgrade the site to improve flood immunity, remove existing operational and safety constraints, and ensure the facility remains functional during and after flood events.
