Background Renewal SA is seeking information from suitably qualified and experienced building consultants regarding the provision of comprehensive defect and quality control building inspection services. This RFI relates to a proposed landmark mixed-use development in inner-metropolitan Adelaide. The project comprises a 12-level building (Ground + 11 Levels) featuring: 80 Affordable apartments 4 residential townhouses 3 commercial/retail tenancies 220 public and residential car parking spaces Common building spaces Public realm space. The project aims to significantly increase affordable housing supply while ensuring high-quality design, construction quality, and compliance standards aligned with community needs. Purpose The purpose of this Request for Information is to gauge market interest, capability, and potential quality control strategies for the proposed mixed-use project. Renewal SA is seeking feedback regarding market capacity to conduct pre-handover quality and defect inspections, as well as methodology suggestions for managing defect rectification closeout. This Request for Information is an information gathering process in which Renewal SA seeks to collect information and opinions from the Construction industry in South Australia.
