Overview The City of Holdfast Bay (the Council) invites tenders from tenderers for the provision of detailed design and documentation for Jetty Road Brighton – Road Improvements (the Services). Purpose The purpose of this consultancy project is to: Progress preferred design options to detailed design (100% Issue for Tender) Undertake geotechnical investigation, pavement design and waste classification Scope The consultant is required to deliver the following services as part of the Jetty Road, Brighton detailed design package: 1. Review of Existing Documentation Review of the existing full feature survey (previously undertaken and to be supplied to the successful tenderer), covering boundary-to-boundary along Jetty Road, 30 metres into each intersecting side street, and 10 metres prior to the Brighton Road intersection Review of the design direction adopted by Council (Doc03_2026 000247 – Jetty Road Brighton Road Improvements - Concepts) 2. Detailed Design and Documentation Preparation of Issue for Construction drawings Preparation of Technical Specifications Preparation of a Safety in Design report Preparation of a Bill of Quantities 3. Stakeholder Liaison Engagement with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) to identify any impacts or opportunities related to the adjacent train line and the public bus route, and incorporation of feedback into design solutions 4. Cost Estimation Provision of cost estimates at the 70% detailed design and Issue for Tender stages to support future funding applications and budget planning Contract Terms and Conditions This project will be undertaken under the City of Holdfast Bay's Services Agreement Information Requested 5.
