About this tender
Overview The City of Mount Gambier (Council) is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to design and deliver a contemporary 12-month leadership development program for People Leaders, Managers and General Managers. About Council has a documented Leadership Capability Framework, developed in 2021. The framework is not fully embedded but aims to define what leadership looks like at the City of Mount Gambier and outlines expected leadership capabilities and behaviours across the Leadership Team, Management Team and Executive Management Team levels. Purpose Council recognises the critical role leadership plays in creating a high-performing organisation and fostering a positive workplace culture. The program is intended to support the development of a capable, aligned and emotionally intelligent leadership cohort that can effectively lead people, build strong teams, navigate change, manage conflict, hold constructive and challenging conversations, and contribute positively to organisational performance and culture. Objectives Building practical leadership capability across Council's leadership cohort Strengthening collaboration, accountability and consistency across the leadership cohort Enhancing leaders' self-awareness, confidence and effectiveness Supporting a united leadership approach that promotes high performance, strong engagement and organisational success Scope The scope includes: Design and delivery of a 12-month leadership development program for People Leaders, Managers and General Managers Consideration of Council's Leadership Capability Framework and the organisation's values of Lead, Connect and Deliver in the design of the program Council will provide the Leadership Capability Framework and other relevant organisational information to the successful consultant to support program design and tailoring.
