Overview SA Health is inviting potential suppliers, through this Invitation to Supply (ITS), to be considered for the supply, installation and maintenance of a Nucleic Acid Testing (NAT) solution, including associated assays, reagents and consumables, for SA Pathology's Virology, Serology and Microbiology (VSM) laboratory. Scope The scope of the procurement includes: Rental of the NAT solution, comprising instrumentation (inclusive of warranty and software) and pre-analytical instrumentation as required for the preparation of samples to be tested on the NAT system Provision of proprietary assays required for the detection of pathogens related to STI, BBV, HPV, and BBV donor screening and post-transplant BBV Provision of consumables and reagents required for the operation of the analyser, such as pipetting tips, amplification plates, and specimen collection media Annual comprehensive maintenance of the equipment Delivery, installation, training, warranty, and ongoing maintenance support Availability of redundancy or backup testing capability SA Pathology's current annual throughput requirements apply for each test, with an expected annual throughput increase of 5% for each test, except HPV, which follows five-year testing cycles. Instructions to Tenderers Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals even if their solution only partially meets the listed testing requirements in terms of type of test, provided the solution still meets the sample throughput requirements.
