Local Area Plan

Overview Light Regional Council is seeking to undertake a robust community engagement program to inform the preparation of a Local Area Plan (LAP). Scope The community engagement program must: Build community understanding of the LAP, housing targets and other contextual matters Capture local knowledge and identify community and stakeholders' needs, aspirations and preferences, across the whole Council, and on a township-by-township basis, to inform the preparation of a draft LAP by Council staff Engage with a broad cross-section of the community, including elected members, local stakeholders and underrepresented populations Undertake formal engagement on the draft LAP Analyse engagement findings Include engagement reports as necessary Enquiries Contact: Kynan Mann, Technical Email: KMann@light.sa.gov.au
