Overview The Cities of Charles Sturt, Marion and Port Adelaide Enfield are seeking to engage a contractor to provide a reliable media monitoring service for a term of up to 5 years. Timely identification, analysis and reporting of relevant media coverage will strengthen understanding of community needs and expectations, improve awareness of current issues affecting the community and region, and provide evidence to support informed decision-making. These insights will help identify opportunities to improve business practices, services and community outcomes, while also supporting executive reporting, campaign evaluation, issues management and strategic communications planning. Scope The scope includes: Monitoring national print, television, radio and online news on a daily basis Providing real-time alerts for priority issues, emerging risks and agreed keywords Providing a searchable online portal that enables users to view, filter, download and share media coverage Unlimited downloads Providing access to a responsive online chat service for timely media-related requests Enabling coverage to be shared with non-allocated users so they can view, read or listen to relevant items Enabling users to create media summaries and ad hoc reports Providing automated transcript and clip services for broadcast coverage Providing transcript summaries in a single file, including full interviews where coverage is split across multiple segments Supporting keyword management and topic configuration Providing account management, user training and technical support Offering optional phone and SMS alerts for relevant breaking news Optionally including, as a separate option in the package, social media coverage for the Council's consideration Enquiries Contact: Justin Noble Office: +61 (08) 84081257 Email: procurementservices@charlessturt.sa.gov.au
