About this tender
Overview The Department of Human Services' Disability and Specialised Services (DASS) requires the supply of pharmaceutical services for up to 400 of its clients receiving Supported Independent Living or Aged Care services across South Australia. Purpose A priority of DASS is to ensure Choice and Control of its clients throughout the terms of service resulting from this tender. Individual clients may choose not to be serviced by the selected supplier and may instead source their own chemist. Scope The scope includes provision of the following services to DASS clients: Supply of Pharmaceutical Benefit Scheme (PBS) medications Supply of non-PBS medications Supply of medications that are available through PBS but are not prescribed for an approved diagnosis Supply of Over the Counter (OTC) medications and products Contract Terms and Conditions There is no guarantee of a minimum number of clients that will access this service, or a minimum contract expenditure DASS clients will pay for their own medication and have accounts directly with the successful supplier In rare instances where this is not aligned, DASS may choose to purchase the required medication directly through the successful supplier Instructions to Tenderers Further information on what is required can be found in the attachments.
