Overview The District Council of Tumby Bay invites tenders from suitably qualified, experienced and appropriately licensed contractors for the provision of environmental clean-up works at Second Creek Wetland, Trinity Haven Road, Tumby Bay, South Australia. Scope The scope includes: Removal of historical dumped waste from the sensitive coastal wetland environment Sorting of the removed waste Loading and transport of the waste Lawful disposal of the waste Stabilisation works at the site Reporting on the works undertaken Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in environmental clean-up works Appropriately licensed to undertake the works Tender Briefing and Site Inspection Site Inspection Date: 25 August 2026 Time: 10:00 am Location: Trinity Haven Road, adjacent worksite, Tumby Bay, South Australia, Australia, 5605 Tenderers are required to attend either the site inspection or the online briefing before submitting a tender. Attendance at the site inspection is highly recommended. Refer to section 8, Mandatory Site Inspection / Online Briefing, of the RFT document for further information. A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid. Online Briefing Date: Wednesday 26 August 2026 Time: 2:00 pm Format: Virtual briefing Tenderers are required to attend either the site inspection or the online briefing before submitting a tender. An online briefing session will be conducted after the site inspection. The Council representative is Damian Windsor, General Manager Works and Infrastructure.
