South Park Lands Creek - Reach 7, Park 19

Overview The City of Adelaide is seeking a contractor to undertake open channel rehabilitation works in Park 19, East of Unley Road (Reach 7), South Park Lands Creek, in line with the Water Infrastructure Asset Management Plan. Scope The works consist of reshaping and rehabilitating the open channel and restoring its condition to as new, including watercourse rehabilitation works such as erosion control, reprofiling of batters, and rock armouring elements. The contract comprises the whole of the plant, labour and materials necessary to execute the works described in the specification and shown on the drawings, including but not limited to: Liaison and cooperation with the Council's Representative and service authorities Notification and liaison with residents and stakeholders adjacent to the site and the community affected by the works, in coordination with the Council's Representative Location and identification of underground and overhead services Protection of services during construction works Provision of site security fencing to prevent unauthorised access to the site Setting out of the works, including all pipes, pits and drains, for the Council's Representative's approval Provision of all traffic management measures, including for pedestrians and cyclists Protection of trees and existing landscaping within the site Management of waste fill and disposal of surplus excavated waste soil material off site Construction of works described in the drawings and specification Reinstatement of all pavements, verges, footpaths and other areas affected by the works Relocation and/or adjustment of service top stones, irrigation points or service pits as required Soil erosion and drainage management during construction Clean-up and demobilisation Provision of as-constructed drawings Enquiries All enquiries should be directed to: T.online@cityofadelaide.com.au
