Overview The Department for Environment and Water (SA) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the design and construction of a toilet block on Granite Island. Scope The scope includes: Design and engineering of the toilet block Manufacture of the toilet block Installation and construction of the toilet block Delivery of a facility that is durable, low-maintenance, environmentally sensitive, and visually integrated into its natural surroundings Compliance with all relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and visitor safety expectations Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified contractor for design and construction works Site Inspection A site visit prior to submitting a quotation is highly recommended but not mandatory. The area is publicly accessible, however if vehicles are required to be brought across the causeway, this may be facilitated by contacting the Project Manager.
