Overview The Eastern Waste Management Authority (The Authority), acting through the Local Government Association of South Australia (SA), is seeking a suitably qualified partner or partners to design and deliver comprehensive waste education programs for its Constituent Councils. About The Authority provides effective, tailored waste collection services to its Constituent Councils. Central to its operational philosophy is a commitment to sustainable waste management, underpinned by the belief that community and school-based education is essential to creating a more circular and sustainable future. Purpose The Authority is seeking to advance these objectives by engaging a partner to develop and deliver education programs intended to drive behaviour change that reduces waste generation and improves correct waste disposal and recycling practices. Scope The successful Tenderer will be responsible for delivering a multifaceted education strategy, encompassing the following core deliverables: Educational Content: Development of high-quality, engaging, and age-appropriate educational resources Curriculum & Workshops: Delivery of Australian Curriculum-aligned school programs and interactive community sessions focused on waste reduction, resource recovery, and the circular economy Strategic Collaboration: Close coordination with Constituent Councils and educational institutions to ensure seamless program delivery and alignment with The Authority's specific collection services Service Awareness: Proactive communication support to ensure the community is well-informed regarding changes to local waste collection services and best-practice disposal methods Impact Evaluation: Implementation of monitoring frameworks to track program efficacy, including regular reporting and feedback analysis to ensure organisational waste reduction goals are achieved Contract Terms and Conditions The Authority intends to enter into an Agreement for Services with the successful Tenderer or Tenderers to facilitate these outcomes.
