Overview Central Highlands Council has opened stallholder applications for Highlands BushFest 2026, an outdoor lifestyle festival held in the Central Highlands region of Tasmania. About BushFest is Tasmania Outdoors. Held in the heart of the Central Highlands, BushFest brings together thousands of people who share a passion for camping, fly fishing, off roading, mountain biking, bushwalking, hunting, sustainable harvesting, traditional skills and outdoor adventure. Across two action-packed days the festival features hands-on demonstrations, practical workshops, expert presenters, quality exhibitors, live entertainment, local food and opportunities to learn, try and experience something new, suited to experienced outdoor enthusiasts and families alike. BushFest has grown from a standing start to 7,000 attendees and continues to grow. It brings together Tasmania's outdoor community across fishing, hunting, camping and 4WD activities, with an engaged, hands-on audience, strong dwell time and minimal promotional clutter.
