Overview Circular Head Council invites quotations from suitably qualified traffic and civil engineering consultants to update the assessment of the Gibson Street and Nelson Street intersection in Smithton and, subject to a Council decision, complete the detailed design of the selected treatment. Scope The scope includes: Stage 1: establishing the current evidence base for the Gibson Street and Nelson Street intersection Stage 1: assessing and comparing feasible treatment options Stage 1: supporting Council's selection of a preferred treatment option Stage 2: completing the detailed design of the selected treatment Stage 2: preparing the schedule of quantities for the selected treatment Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified traffic and civil engineering expertise Contract Terms and Conditions The commission is divided into two stages, with Stage 2 forming a separable portion of the commission Stage 2 proceeds subject to a Council decision on the selected treatment
