This Tender is invited by the Issuer. Overview The National Disability Insurance Agency is seeking a Labour Hire Worker to fill the role of EL1 Actuary (Professional Stream), a team leadership position within the Actuarial Insights and Monitoring functions of the NDIA. The Role The role includes: Delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail Providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area Exercising a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the Actuarial Insights and Monitoring functions Exercising sound decision-making and judgement to produce high level policy advice and operational support Coordinating and assuming responsibility for detailed or sensitive projects, which may include performing varied activities involving many different and unrelated processes or methods that impact on strategic or operational outcomes supporting the NDIA's objective to build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme Actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships, including representing and negotiating on behalf of the NDIA to advance its interests across a range of forums Eligibility As part of the eligibility and suitability requirement, the NDIA seeks Labour Hire Workers who are Australian citizens only Successful candidates will be required to furnish valid evidence of citizenship during the Pre-engagement Check For ACT, VIC and QLD, labour hire licences are required in the state where specified personnel are being contracted Tender Briefing A supplier briefing will not be held for this role. Instructions to Tenderers The proposed rate should reflect the candidate's skills and experience against the Evaluation Criteria. Candidates that do not demonstrate these criteria will not be assessed. Candidates should be aware that rates may be negotiated further as part of the selection process.
