Tender Overview
About this tender
CT10533 - Fluorosilicic Acid Tank Replacement North East Water invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a tender for the design and construct delivery of Fluorosilicic Acid (FSA) Storage Tank replacements at four (4) North East Water sites. The successful Tenderer will be engaged as the Principal Contractor and will be responsible for the detailed design, removal, disposal, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Fluorosilicic Acid storage tank systems in accordance with this RFT. Background: North East Water has completed a preliminary assessment and associated concept design for the replacement of its Fluorosilicic Acid storage tanks at its water treatment facilities located in Yarrawonga, Benalla, Wangaratta and Wodonga. The existing tanks are nearing the end of their design life and require replacement to ensure ongoing safe, reliable and compliant water treatment operations. Each site currently utilises a 10,000 L Fluorosilicic Acid storage tank supplying chemical to a day tank for dosing, with a chemical concentration of approximately 24–25%. Works are required to replace the storage tanks and associated infrastructure on a like‑for‑like basis. Further information is provided in the Tender Documentation.
