AG Gillon - Stormwater Harvesting works

Overview Merri-bek City Council is seeking to select and appoint a contractor to undertake all necessary civil works required to facilitate the installation of a stormwater harvesting system at AG Gillon Reserve, Brunswick, as per the drawing and specification detail provided. About The services to be tendered comprise the construction and delivery of the Reaburn Reserve Integrated Water Management Project, including stormwater harvesting, treatment, storage and reuse infrastructure and associated landscape works within Reaburn Reserve and the broader Brunswick Parklands. The works generally include the diversion of stormwater from the existing main drain beneath Hope Street, construction of the stormwater treatment pond and raingarden system, installation of underground water storage and pumping infrastructure, and associated pipework and irrigation connections to enable treated stormwater to be reused for irrigation across the Brunswick Parklands. The works also include the associated civil, hydraulic, electrical, structural and landscaping works necessary to deliver a fully functional and operational system. Landscape and public realm works within Reaburn Reserve include the construction of vegetated mounds, new and upgraded paths, viewing areas, stepping stones, relocation of existing park furniture and provision of a new shelter, together with reinstatement and associated site works. The successful tenderer will be responsible for the complete delivery of the works in accordance with the contract documents, approved designs, relevant approvals and all applicable Australian Standards and statutory requirements.
