Overview The City of Yarra is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of Budd Street Park. About Budd Street Park is part of the City of Yarra's Roads to Park program, which converts underutilised road space into new parks. The project has been designed by Openwork in conjunction with Council staff. Scope The scope includes: Demolition of part of the existing asphalt road and footpath Construction of new garden beds Installation of custom furniture and lighting Installation of new trees in deep soil and structural cells Contractor Requirements Obtaining relevant permits and licences for working adjacent to utilities, as the site is located adjacent to an electrical substation with associated underground and overhead assets, and additional underground utilities are present on site Contract Terms and Conditions Project construction is planned to commence in early 2027
