Overview The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is intending to release an Open Tender for Alterations and Additions to the Cann Valley Fire Station located at 12 Tamboon Road, Cann Valley VIC 3890. Scope The proposed alterations and additions will consist of the following: Demolition and removal of existing concrete paving, Motor Room Door, Office, Toilet, Storeroom and Kitchenette Refurbishment of the existing Motor Room to include epoxy sealant to concrete floor and new Motor Room Panel Lift Door Construction of extension to the existing Cann Valley Fire Station to include a new Turnout Room with 25 hooks and 1 Change cubicle, Comms Alcove, BA Wash Room, Laundry, Office, Accessible Toilet / Shower, Toilet, Storeroom, and Multi-Purpose Room including Kitchenette Supply and installation of a shed (approximately 7.5m W x 8.3m L) with motorised roller door Installation of new concrete paving Supply and installation of a Z Type Hose Drying Rack and Fire Fighting Standpipe Contractor Requirements Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety, and Industrial Relations Management is mandatory Contract Terms and Conditions Construction is targeted to commence approximately January 2027 and be completed approximately by June 2027 Applicable Government policies affecting the procurement include the Directions and Instructions for Public Construction Procurement Instructions to Tenderers The following preliminary design drawings are attached to this opportunity: A-100, Site Plans A-200, Demolition Plan & Elevations A-300, Floor Plan A-301, Roof Plan A-400, Elevations & Sections A-401, Sections Enquiries Rhonda Van Lith: +61 (03) 88228084, r.vanlith@cfa.vic.gov.au Closing Officer: +61 (03) 88228039, tenders@cfa.vic.gov.au
