Overview The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is intending to release an Open Tender for Alterations and Additions to the Rye Fire Station at 21 Collingwood Street, Rye, VIC 3941. Scope The scope includes: Demolition of the existing Motor Room, Offices, Turnout Room, Amenities and Training Room, including masonry wall to the east boundary Construction of a new shed including a 3 bay Motor Room with motorised bi-fold doors, motor room ventilation and a Comms Alcove Construction of a timber framed, steel clad rear addition to the proposed shed comprising a Turnout Room with 42 hooks and 2 change cubicles Provision of 2 gender neutral amenities, including one accessible facility with a shower Construction of a Cleaning Store, Laundry and BA Washroom Construction of a Training Room, Kitchen and Brigade Office Contractor Requirements Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements is mandatory Compliance with Industrial Relations Management requirements is mandatory Compliance with applicable government policies affecting the procurement, including the Directions and Instructions for Public Construction Procurement Contract Terms and Conditions Construction is targeted to commence approximately late November 2026 Construction is targeted to be completed approximately by May 2027 Instructions to Tenderers Preliminary design drawings, including Town Planning Drawings, are attached to this opportunity.
