Overview Merri-bek City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contractors for RFT-2026-31: Coburg Bluestone Cottage refurbishment works (Heritage). Purpose The objective of this procurement process is to select and appoint one suitably qualified and experienced Principal Contractor with demonstrated heritage construction experience to deliver the Bluestone Cottage Stage 1 refurbishment and conservation works at 82 Bell Street, Coburg. Scope The Contractor shall deliver the Bluestone Cottage Stage 1 Refurbishment Works at 82 Bell Street, Coburg in accordance with the Contract Documents, Drawings, Technical Specifications, Appendices, relevant Australian Standards, statutory authority requirements, heritage requirements and Council requirements. The scope includes: Heritage conservation and restoration works to the existing Bluestone Cottage complex Structural works Building services works Accessibility and compliance works Associated external works Protection of existing heritage fabric Testing, commissioning, certification and handover Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced Principal Contractor Demonstrated heritage construction experience Site Inspection A mandatory site inspection will be held for this opportunity.
