The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (Homes Victoria) is preparing to issue a tender for Building Surveying Services across Regional Victoria. Project Overview This program involves the delivery of approximately 166 individually titled vacant land lots across three sites located in Geelong, Bendigo, and Morwell. The development of these lots will utilize the Project Homes Panel of Builders, employing apartment-style Design and Construct contracts. Tender Process Type: Selective tender Eligibility: Potential tenderers will be chosen from the Construction Supplier Register (CSR). The sites are owned by the CEO of Homes Victoria. Homes Victoria reserves the right to interchange sites as necessary. Consultant Requirements The successful consultant will be responsible for providing Building Surveying Services for each lot, adhering to a detailed brief and Consultancy Agreement that will be provided at the time of tender. Qualifications for the Building Surveyor include: Registration in accordance with Part 11 of the Building Act 1993 as a Building Surveyor, unlimited classification by the Building Practitioners Board Victoria or a relevant statutory body. Accreditation by Homes Victoria, in line with the Capital Development Guidelines Series 7. The Building Surveyor must possess the expertise to assess designs against the performance requirements outlined in the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and the Capital Development Guidelines Series 7 – Fire Risk Management.
