Overview The City of Casey invites suitable tenderers to undertake the delivery of cyclic tree works under Contract CT001090. The contract is for the proactive inspection, assessment and maintenance of all Council-managed street trees across the municipality, including trees within new subdivisions and rural roads. Objectives The contract supports the following objectives: Maintaining public safety Reducing tree-related risks Preserving tree health and amenity Ensuring compliance with required clearances from public assets The contract supports Council's urban forest management objectives and promotes a safe, healthy and attractive streetscape for the community. Scope The scope includes: Inspection and risk assessment of street trees Updating tree asset data Public asset clearance pruning Formative and maintenance pruning Crown cleaning Habitat pruning Tree and stump removal Removal of protective tree guards Envelope pruning of nominated roadsides Delivery of an annual community mulching program in selected rural areas Contract Terms and Conditions The contract will operate on a three-year cycle across three municipality zones Tender Briefing A compulsory online tender briefing will be held for this opportunity.
