Overview Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (SMCT) is inviting responses from contractors to undertake and complete the SBC New Song He Yuan (Stage 3) Construction Works at Springvale Botanical Cemetery, as detailed in the tender documentation. Scope The scope includes: Associated earthworks to install the lawn graves, including backfill and cart away of excess spoil Associated landscape works and plant procurement Construction and installation of garden bed edging (if applicable) Relocation or disposal of excess spoil Progressive spreading and levelling of the stockpile to a nominal height of 1m, to enable SMCT Operations to mow the area Survey of the stockpile on completion (location and height) and provision of a CAD survey file (TIN model) as part of the as-built documentation Contract Terms and Conditions A VPS Contract is attached to the tender documentation and must be reviewed as part of the submission process. Tender Briefing and Site Inspection A MANDATORY site visit and briefing session will be held for this opportunity. Attendance at the briefing and site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid. Failure to attend will deem any Tender submission void.
