The purpose of this project is for the Lead Design Consultant (LDC) to undertake concept refinement and schematic design, detailed design and specification for Issue for Tender (IFT) documentation and Issue for Construction (IFC) documentation for the staged redevelopment of Lalor Recreation Reserve, Lalor, in accordance with the endorsed Lalor Recreation Reserve Master Plan. The Lead Design Consultant shall be a suitably qualified and experienced consultant and will be responsible for engaging and coordinating appropriately qualified sub consultants to prepare a complete and coordinated documentation package and technical specifications for the future implementation of the Master Plan. The documentation is to address the relevant scope identified in the Master Plan and must consider a staged approach to implementation, aligned with available funding. The LDC will work collaboratively with the City of Whittlesea to identify project requirements, constraints and risks associated with staging, and to review and inform a delivery strategy that is realistic, financially aligned and responsive to future funding opportunities. | Market Approach: Request for Tender | Category: 1000 LANDSCAPING & HORTICULTURE | Location: City of Whittlesea | Opening Date: 31/03/2026 04:45 PM AEDT (UTC+11:00) | Closing Date: 28/04/2026 04:00 PM AEST (UTC+10:00) | Communications Closing Date: 28/04/2026 04:00 PM AEST (UTC+10:00) | Status: Current
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
