About this tender
Overview Gippsland Water is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the replacement of the aeration diffuser system within a bioreactor at the Gippsland Water Factory, Morwell, Victoria. This is not a tender. Interested companies are requested to provide contact details as set out below. Scope The scope includes: Removal and disposal of approximately 1,710 existing diffuser assemblies Removal and disposal of associated PVC air distribution pipework and supports Installation of Gippsland Water supplied 12-inch EDI ISM disc diffusers Installation of new PN12 PVC pipework and stainless-steel support systems Provision of all labour and supervision Confined space access arrangements Scaffold and rescue systems Lifting equipment Installation, testing and commissioning support Project documentation Contractor Requirements Demonstrated experience in the delivery of similar aeration diffuser replacement projects Demonstrated experience in wastewater treatment infrastructure upgrades Demonstrated experience in process pipework installations Demonstrated experience in confined space construction works Contract Terms and Conditions Works are required to be completed safely within a three-week reactor shutdown period Works will be undertaken concurrently with a Gippsland Water-appointed consultant conducting a structural condition assessment of the reactor Instructions to Tenderers Contractors interested in this opportunity are requested to register their interest by COB 07 August 2026 by emailing Contracts&Procurement@gippswater.com.au.
