Overview The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is seeking to engage a Head Contractor for the construction of the Goulburn Valley Health Integrated Cancer Centre (ICC). About The VHBA operates within the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) under the project office VIDA Health. VHBA's work includes planning and building new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also administers the replacement and upgrade of engineering infrastructure and medical equipment, alongside the asset management of existing health facilities. Purpose The Goulburn Valley Health Integrated Cancer Centre is being delivered as part of the Commonwealth's $194 million investment through the Community Health and Hospital Program (CHHP) Victoria. The ICC received $30 million funding (TEI) from the Commonwealth Government to deliver a purpose-built sustainable 15-bay oncology service at the existing Shepparton Hospital. Scope The scope includes: Construction of a new Integrated Cancer Centre (ICC) including 15 oncology treatment bays Delivery of the works on a brownfield site, above the existing dialysis building at Shepparton Hospital The ICC is to be delivered between March 2027 and mid 2028. Eligibility Respondents must be registered as a prequalified contractor on the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) Construction Supplier Register (CSR) under the category New Commercial Construction Respondents must have experience in delivering projects within the value range of $15M and $100M Respondents must have experience in the following sectors: Health, Hospitals, Education or aged care Respondents must have the capability to service a regional project location
