Overview Horsham Rural City Council invites suitably qualified contractors to submit a quotation for exterior painting works at Dadswell Bridge Hall, located at 5820 Western Highway, Dadswells Bridge, Victoria 3385. Scope The scope includes: Repainting the weatherboard exterior walls of the single-storey hall, with an estimated surface area of approximately 200m² Sanding and preparing all surfaces in accordance with manufacturer instructions Grinding and removing all flaking paint Filling cracks to a solid base Replacing any damaged weatherboards as required, with associated costs listed separately Provision for the use of a scissor lift if required Detailing all coats and paint types as per manufacturer's guidelines Implementation of appropriate site barricades and traffic safety measures for the duration of the works Contractor Requirements All painting works must comply with relevant Australian standards and manufacturer specifications Preferred paint is Dulux Hi Gloss Acrylic Weathershield or Wattyl Solagard Exterior paint, or an equivalent high-quality exterior paint, to be approved by the Project Officer prior to use Contract Terms and Conditions Works are anticipated to commence 1 October 2026 and be completed by 30 November 2026 Instructions to Tenderers Quotations close Monday 14 September at 12 noon, and must be submitted through Council's e-procure box Please refer to the Request for Quotation documents for full details Council is not obliged to accept any quotation Late quotations will not be accepted Quotations will only be accepted if received through the e-procure portal
