About the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority Victoria’s Big Build (https://bigbuild.vic.gov.au/about/vida) Project details Goulburn Valley Health Acute Mental Health Unit (GV Health AMHU) The Goulburn Valley Acute Mental Health project is part of the $195.834 million (Total program TEI) Additional Mental Health Beds in Regional Victoria initiative to deliver expanded acute mental health services. The project will replace and expand the existing 20-bed mental health unit with a brand new, purpose-built facility of 30 beds at the Goulburn Valley Health Hospital campus in Shepparton. Goulburn Valley Health Integrated Cancer Centre (GV Health ICC) The Goulburn Valley Health Integrated Cancer Centre is a Commonwealth funded project to be delivered as part of the Commonwealth’s $194 million investment through the Community Health and Hospital Program (CHHP) Victoria. The ICC received $30 million funding (TEI) from Commonwealth Government to deliver a purpose-built sustainable 15-bay oncology service. Provision of Services/Scope of Works VHBA, in partnership with Goulburn Valley Health, is seeking to engage an experienced consultant or consultants to provide advisory services supporting the Principal’s Representative across the three packages of work outlined below. Goulburn Valley Health Acute Mental Health Unit Package: 1. Demolition and Early Works Demolition of an existing building(s) Decanting of several clinical functions to alternate locations on-site On-site refurbishment and fit-out and portable buildings packages Service Diversions To be delivered between August 2026 and June 2027 Located on a brownfield site Construct only methodology 2. Main Works Package Construction of a new 30 bed acute mental health building To be delivered between August 2027 and June 2029 Procurement approach is enhanced design and construct Located on a brownfield site Goulburn Valley Health Integrated Cancer Centre package: 3.
