Overview The City of Wodonga is seeking a contractor to seal existing gravel roads across various areas within the City of Wodonga, as part of Council's 2026-27 Road Renewal Program. Purpose Funding has been allocated as part of Wodonga Council's 2026-27 Road Renewal Program to seal existing gravel roads. The objective of this project is to provide a durable and safe sealed surface on existing gravel roads within the City of Wodonga. This will improve road quality, minimise dust emissions, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance community amenity. Scope This contract covers the supply and placement of bituminous seal coats only, with all pavement preparation and reshaping works to be completed internally by Council's Depot Team. The sealing works are to be carried out in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards, VicRoads specifications, and best industry practices. The scope includes: Supply of all labour, materials, plant, and equipment necessary to complete the works in accordance with the Schedule of Works Coordination of sealing works with Council's works crew, including site readiness, access, sequencing, and timing after Council's preparatory works Inspection of the prepared gravel surface prior to sealing to confirm suitability for bituminous application (surface finish, compaction, moisture, and cleanliness) Surface preparation, including light brooming and removal of loose or dusty material Supply and application of bituminous binder and aggregate, including all labour, materials, and equipment required to complete the seal Enquiries Council's Representative: Rabin Shrestha, 0478272119 Council's Representative: James Hodgkin, 0409594736 Procurement Assistance: Joe Duncan, (02) 6022 9300
