Overview The City of Stonnington is inviting tenders for the collection and transportation of Council's Hard Waste Service. Council is seeking a suitable contractor to provide kerbside collection, transportation and disposal services for bulky hard and green waste items for residents. Scope The scope includes: Kerbside collection of bulky hard and green waste items from residents Transportation of collected items Disposal of collected items, prioritising recycling wherever possible, with only non-recyclable materials sent to landfill Items include, for example, unwanted furniture, mattresses, electrical items, whitegoods, garden waste, and bicycles. Instructions to Tenderers The online forum closes five business days prior to the tender closing date Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any tender, or part thereof Tenders received after the closing time will not be considered
