Invitation to tender: Contract no CT001557 BEACH AND BOAT RAMP CLEANING - SERVICES. Wyndham City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Service Provider to deliver Beach and Boat Ramp Cleaning Services in accordance with requirements of the Part 4 – Specifications Document for this RFT. The objective of the Service is to ensure a clean, safe and litter free environment through the removal and safe disposal of seaweed and contaminants from Werribee South Beach. The Service Provider must provide all management, administration, labour, safety equipment, tools, materials, insurances, telephone calls, overheads, and profit for carrying out all the activities detailed in this specification. Council is seeking to appoint a Service Provider for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option of two (2) x 1 year extensions, at the discretion of Council, with a total contract tenure of up to 5 years. Key scope and objectives of the CT001557 Beach and Boat Ramp – Services, includes: General Clean of Boat Ramps and Pontoons Boat Ramp Edge Cleaning Beach Cleaning Other Requirements: The Service Provider will ensure closure signage and barricades are erected while conducting any works Additional fortnightly cleaning may be required each high season from Mid-November to 30 January, Main Beach only, effectively cleaning this beach once per week (Friday) during this period. The Service Provider will have the resources and equipment to satisfy this request at the schedule of rates provided The Service Provider will be required to attend site immediately if requested post a storm or other environmental condition they may have hindered the beach and/or boat ramps Should individual waste items not be able to be collected by the mechanical beach cleaning machinery or manual means (e.g. large items of tidal debris or other items that are unable to be removed by 1 person) a quote will be requested using schedule rates to remove the waste items The Service Provider will have the ability to provide the contract manager with before/after photos at every visit. The completed photo will need to show the condition of the beach and ramps / pontoons and verify the service has been completed Provide an annual schedule at beginning of the contract and finalised 2 weeks in advance to contract manager for the next month. Additional Information The current closing period for all Tender Submissions, which must be electronically submitted through Council’s Tenderlink Procurement Platform, is no later than 12pm (noon) Wednesday 6 May 2026 AEST. All enquiries relating to the works or services should be channelled directly through the Tenderlink Message Forum established for this RFT. Queries raised through the Forum will cease being responded to 1 (one) week prior to the tender closing period. Late or e-mailed tender submissions will not be accepted. The lowest of any tender will not necessarily be accepted. RFT documents will be made available for downloading through the Tenderlink Portal - noting that registration on the portal is required and that there is no cost to ‘Suppliers’ associated with registration.
