Overview Chisholm Institute is responsible for the delivery of the Frankston Digital Skills, AI, and Technology Centre of Excellence (COE), which is being developed to meet the ever-evolving needs within the education space. This opportunity relates to the main works for the Centre of Excellence. About The Frankston Digital Skills, AI, and Technology Centre of Excellence is being delivered in partnership with Australian universities, regional TAFEs, Australian businesses and government agencies. Objectives The Centre of Excellence will: Promote regional participation in digital and technology skills training and innovation through cutting-edge digital skills simulation labs and offer innovation incubators to help businesses close their training skills gaps Create a national network of industry satellite campuses to accelerate digital and technology skills training, aligned to a sovereign capability and located within the workplaces of leading Australian businesses and emerging technology start-ups Address the critical shortage of digital workers through targeted higher apprenticeship and traineeship programs in partnership with satellite campuses and Australian TAFEs Innovate the teaching and learning experience for digital and technology skills training through new learner pathways, nation-wide support for digital career readiness, a nation-wide mentoring program with Australian businesses, new learning resources and a national TAFE teacher program for digital and technology skills
