Mildura Urban Growth Mains

Overview Lower Murray Water has issued this Advanced Tender Notice for an upcoming construct only tender for the Mildura Urban Growth Mains project, covering the installation of urban water trunk mains in the districts of Mildura, Nichols Point and Irymple. Purpose The upgrades are planned to cater for increasing population and developments within the districts of Mildura, Nichols Point and Irymple. The works will ensure hydraulic continuity in the water network and eliminate potential restrictions that could compromise flow efficiency, pressure stability and reliability. Scope The scope includes: Installation of approximately 4,170m of pipeline(s), ranging from DN450 to DN225, across three distinct alignments Etiwanda Avenue, between Fifteenth Street and Sixteenth Street: approximately 1,375m DN225 (OPVC and HDPE) Sandilong Avenue, between Fifteenth Street and Sixteenth Street: approximately 1,400m DN225 (OPVC and HDPE) Cureton Avenue / Fifth Street, between Cowra Avenue and Koorlong Avenue (and partially along Koorlong Avenue): approximately 1,395m of DN450, DN375, DN300 and DN225 (OPVC and HDPE) Installation of a DN100 service main for part(s) of the Cureton Avenue / Fifth Street alignment Maintaining safety and continuance of water supply, with minimal operational disturbance to Lower Murray Water's networks, as high priorities during the construction phase Lower Murray Water has procured pipe for this project in advance and will free-issue this to the successful Contractor.
