Overview Ambulance Victoria is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to supply a lightweight folding wheelchair to replace and upgrade its current folding wheelchairs, with the addition of a stair descender mechanism (multipurpose chair). Scope The scope includes: Supply of a lightweight folding wheelchair to replace and upgrade Ambulance Victoria's current folding wheelchairs Incorporation of a stair descender mechanism into the multipurpose chair The Multipurpose Chairs are anticipated to be standard equipment on all emergency vehicles.
