About this tender

Overview WorkSafe Victoria, the state's workplace health and safety regulator and workplace injury insurer, intends to invite applications from suitably qualified providers to join its Occupational Rehabilitation Services Panel. About Under the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013 (Vic), WorkSafe approves occupational rehabilitation providers to deliver occupational rehabilitation services to injured workers and employers. These services support injured workers to recover from injury and achieve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes. Over the past 12 months, more than 11,000 injured workers have received support from WorkSafe's approved occupational rehabilitation providers. Scope The scope includes: Facilitating return to work with a pre-injury employer or a new employer Delivering vocational assessments, retraining and job-seeking support Facilitating discussions to address workplace and interpersonal barriers to return to work Supporting workers to maintain work readiness while barriers to returning to work are addressed Contract Terms and Conditions The approval period for providers on the Panel is expected to be from 1 July 2027 to 30 June 2030, with possible options to extend How to Apply WorkSafe expects to issue the invitation for applications on the Buying for Victoria website (www.tenders.vic.gov.au) in November 2026. WorkSafe anticipates notifying applicants of the outcome of their applications prior to commencement of the new approval period on 1 July 2027. Interested providers are recommended to register on the Buying for Victoria Supplier Portal and set up an alert for WorkSafe invitations. Once the invitation is released, interested providers will need to log into the portal to access the application documents.
