Provision of Cab Chassis for Various Firefighting Fleet
Tender Overview
About this tender
Overview The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is undertaking a Request for Information (RFI) to improve its understanding of the supply of contemporary cab chassis options currently available in the Australian market for its firefighting fleet. About CFA operates a diverse fleet of firefighting appliances across Victoria. Cab chassis are a critical input to the delivery of firefighting vehicle appliances because the selected platform determines payload, crew configuration, body integration, safety, compliance and overall delivery timing. In consideration of CFA's strategic fleet requirements, CFA has developed a procurement category strategy covering the cab chassis and subsequent body builds required to support delivery of its firefighting appliance fleet. Based on current planning, CFA may approach the market for an indicative approximately 230 cab chassis over the next four years across the cab chassis options below. These values are indicative only and do not represent a commitment to purchase these volumes. Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
