About this tender

Strathbogie Shire Council is seeking best practice HR System Software available to purchase on a monthly subscription, which manages the life cycle of employment: from recruitment and onboarding over employment including appraisals, career progression and including workforce planning, to employee exit. The implementation of a standard HR System serves as risk mitigation tool, will make the team more effective and will allow us to meet reporting requirements under the Gender Equality Act 2020. Shortlisted suppliers will be invited to provide software demonstration. Program delivery by 31 August 2026 Strathbogie Shire Council advises that failure to supply a monthly subscription in Schedule 7 will result in your tender not being evaluated. All Tender Schedules must be completed in order for the submission to be evaluated. You must allow sufficient time to upload your submission prior to the 4pm deadline. We suggest you familiarise yourself with the online form and uploading options via the 'Response' tab. Late submissions in any format will not be accepted. If you are midway through your submission and the clock hits 4:00pm your submission will not be accepted and you will be unable to continue. We recommend you access a good quality network/internet connection. All communications regarding the submission must be via the Tendersearch using the 'Questions' tab.

How to respond to this tender

A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
