About this tender
Overview Colac Otway Shire Council is inviting submissions from suitable and experienced tenderers to provide waste management services across the municipality. Scope The scope includes: Domestic kerbside collections of general waste, recycling, glass and organics Street litter and recycling collections Domestic transfer station operations Bulk haulage General waste disposal Recycling processing Organics processing Drop off facilities operations Delivery and maintenance of wheelie bins It is estimated that approximately 6,750 tonnes of municipal waste, 1,536 tonnes of recycling, 3,910 tonnes of organics and 320 tonnes of glass would be handled annually. Instructions to Tenderers Suppliers intending to submit a response should allow sufficient time to upload their submission to the portal before the close time of 2:00pm, as large files may take some time to load. Failure to fully upload a submission by the close time will result in being locked out of the portal. Late submissions will not be accepted unless it can be proven that exceptional circumstances prevented the timely upload of the response.
