Recreational Business EOI 2026 Apply now for your chance to start a new business on Rottnest Island. Attracting new and innovative businesses to WA’s premier tourist destination Rottnest Island is renowned for its pristine beaches and extraordinary wildlife, which make it a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike. To ensure visitors keep coming back, Rottnest Island Authority (RIA) continuously attracts new experiences and tourism products that give people a reason to visit and stay longer. The new experiences also create job opportunities and help educate people about the island’s natural environment and cultural heritage. Through the annual Recreational Expression of Interest (EOI), RIA seeks new and exciting recreational businesses that bring a unique offering to the island. In 2026, the EOI invites proposals in two categories: • Recreational activities and experiences • Food and Beverage pop-up (Heritage Common) RIA looks for concepts that will provide significant appeal to the diverse range of visitors coming to the island. Offerings must reflect the quality and richness of the island destination and be compatible with the island’s environmental and heritage values.
