DBCA243WT0082026 - Recreational Trail Maintenance Panel Contract DBCA requires a panel of suitable contractors to undertake trail maintenance works on a wide variety of walk trails, mountain bike trails and horse trails. The panel contract may apply to trails anywhere in the State, however it is expected most of the work will relate to trails in the southwest of the State, particularly the major trail networks around Mundaring, Dwellingup, Collie, Margaret River, Pemberton, and Walpole. The general scope of trail maintenance works includes: a. Minor, basic maintenance – works requiring hand tools only, such as vegetation pruning and clearing debris, and maintenance of drainage, rock armouring, steps or signage. b. Major maintenance – works requiring machinery, including tread reforming, significant drainage work, rock armouring, minor alignment corrections, and refurbishment or addition of mountain bike trail features on existing trails. Construction of any new trails is outside the scope of this panel contract and it may not be used for that purpose.
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
