About this tender
Overview The City of Canning is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced contractor(s) to undertake bushfire mitigation works within nominated City reserves and streetscapes. About The City of Canning manages approximately 220 hectares of natural areas, a significant proportion of which are classified as Bushfire Prone Areas. In accordance with Section 2.1 of the City's Bushfire Risk Management Plan, the City is responsible for implementing bushfire mitigation treatments on land under its ownership or management to reduce bushfire risk and protect the community, infrastructure and environmental assets. Scope The scope includes: Bushfire mitigation works within nominated City reserves and streetscapes Delivery of services in accordance with the treatment requirements specified in the City's Natural Areas Bushfire Management Plan Compliance with any other relevant legislative and operational requirements Contractor Requirements Suitably qualified and experienced in bushfire mitigation works
