Funding Grants ranging from $2,001 to $10,000 (ex. GST) are available under this round. Funding Priorities Funding is open to a variety of community-strengthening efforts, including: Strategic projects and committee training Major community events Building upgrades Club development initiatives About The current round follows a successful previous funding round that delivered significant local advancements. With the support of the Shire of Northam, St John WA delivered its 2025/26 Community Growth Grant project, Improving Safety and Preparedness through Starlink Connectivity, with Starlink now installed across its Northam operations to strengthen communication, improve emergency readiness, and enhance response capability. Local ambulance crews are now equipped with Starlink units funded through the Shire of Northam's Community Growth Grant. In a recent remote truck rollover with no mobile coverage, paramedics and emergency responders remained fully connected, coordinating efforts, sharing updates, and focusing on patient care without interruption. Paramedic Ian Dyer said this capability has made a significant difference. Continued rollout across the fleet is strengthening emergency response across rural WA and helping deliver better outcomes for the community. How to respond to this tender

Read the requirements in full

Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.

Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding

Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.

Answer every criterion with evidence

Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.

Lodge early through the official portal

Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
