The site comprises approximately 118.93 hectares of undeveloped land and was previously utilised as one of WA's largest public rifle ranges. There are currently no developments on the land. Purpose The Shire invites innovative and sustainable proposals that demonstrate community benefit, long-term viability, and appropriate utilisation of the site in accordance with applicable planning, tenure, and statutory requirements. Scope The scope includes: Leasing of approximately 118.93 hectares of undeveloped land at Reserve 44387 Development of compatible recreational, tourism, community, commercial, sporting, or other appropriate uses of the site, subject to relevant approvals Development of the land at the successful proponent's cost Connection of necessary electricity and water services to the site Contractor Requirements Proposed development must comply with applicable planning, tenure, and statutory requirements Any access arrangements must be negotiated with the Clay Target Club, as the land is currently accessible only through a poorly developed dirt track that passes through the club's leased area
