Overhead cabinetry and storage solutions will be installed to accommodate approximately 12 personnel, ensuring adequate storage, functionality, and usability for daily operations. Scope of work part 2 - EII main admin, undertake the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the Shift 5/6 office within the Port Operations building. The current condition of this space has been identified as non-functional, with several defects impacting safety, compliance, and usability. These include a deteriorating ceiling with sections beginning to collapse, damaged walls with multiple penetrations, non-compliant electrical services, and flooring that no longer meets hygiene or operational standards. To address these issues, reconfigure the layout by removing the adjoining wall between the existing Shift 5 office and the adjacent non-operational office. This will create an open-plan environment designed to improve workflow, communication, and collaboration between Shift 5 and Shift 6 personnel. As part of the upgraded layout, supply and install six new workstations, providing a practical and efficient working environment. Wall-mounted monitors will also be installed to support operational requirements, including HOSS integration and other task-based functions. In addition, included a provisional budget estimate for furniture supply, to assist with planning and selection of suitable office furnishings. The existing ceiling will be fully replaced with new ceiling linings to eliminate current hazards and ensure long-term durability. Wall repairs will be carried out where required, including patching and re-sheeting, followed by a full repaint of the area to deliver a clean and refreshed finish. Electrical services will be upgraded, including the installation of compliant skirting duct and updated fixtures where necessary. The existing Shift 6 office will also undergo refurbishment, including patching, sanding, and repainting of walls, installation of new vinyl flooring, and upgrades to electrical fixtures and skirting ducting to ensure compliance and consistency across the space. Similarly, the printer room will receive the same level of refurbishment to maintain uniformity, compliance, and longevity. This will include wall and flooring upgrades, along with the replacement of the printer room and adjoining pre-start room door due to their current condition. New flashing cover will be installed over the data cabinet to enclose exposed services and cabling, reducing dust accumulation and improving both safety and overall presentation. A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
