1. Underground Feeder This scope is to install the 33kV 3C Cu, 185mm² PVC/SWA/PVC electrical cable and 48 core Single Mode Optical Fibre (SMOF) cable from surface RMU, down pre-drilled 250mm diameter service bores to underground RMU located in level Z135 (level change 435m). This will include jointing the cables at the appropriate points. 2. Underground electrical distribution The underground distribution works includes the following key components: Z135 U/G Feeder Switchyard The works include: • Installation of Z135 33kV RMU and associated control/comms cabinet, • Installation of 33/11kV, 5MVA transformer & NER, • Installation of Z135 11kV RMU and associated control/comms cabinet, • Installation and termination of 33kV 3C XLPE/SWA/PVC cable between RMU and transformer, • Installation and termination of 11kV 3C 95mm² XLPE/SWA/PVC cables between Transformer and RMU, • Supply, installation and termination of control cables between transformer protection enclosure, RMUs and control cabinets, • Installation and termination of 48 core SMOF fibre optic cable between FOBOTs in Comms panels. Z135W Booster Fan The works in this scope provide the electrical supply to the Z135W Booster fan. The works include: • Installation of 33/11kV, 5MVA transformer & NER, • Installation of Z135 11kV RMU and associated control/comms cabinet, • Installation and termination of 33kV 3C 95mm² XLPE/SWA/PVC cable between RMU and transformer, • Installation and termination of 11kV 3C 95mm² XLPE/SWA/PVC cables between Transformer and RMU, • RMU Substation bolted connector for connection to vendor equipment, • Supply, installation and termination of control cables between transformer protection enclosure, RMUs and control cabinets, • Installation and termination of 48 core SMOF fibre optic cable between FOBOTs in Comms panels. VR2 & VR8 HV Feed & Substations The works in this scope is the electrical installation to provide the fan starters for VR2 and VR8. Contractor will install the two substations, one at each fan location. The fans will be supplied and installed by others. The scope includes the following: • Installation of 33kV RMU, and 11kV RMU, • Installation of 33/11kV 5MVA transformer with NER, • Installation of VR8 skid mount substation on Z120 EBS comprising 11kV RMU, 11/1kV, 3MVA transformer (with NER) and associated 1000V switchboard, • Installation of VR2 skid mount substation on Z110 E comprising 11kV RMU, 11/1kV, 3MVA transformer (with NER) and associated 1000V switchboard, • Installation of an 33kV cable between existing Z120 FB 33kV RMU feeder and incomer Z120 EBS on 33kV RMU, • Installation of a 33kV cable between existing Z120 EBS 33kV RMU and 33/11kV 5MVA transformer with NER, • Installation of a 95mm² 11kV cable between 33/11kV 5MVA transformer with NER and 11kV RMU, • Installation of a 95mm² 11kV cable between 11kV RMU and VR8 Z120 EBS substation, • Installation of a 95mm² 11kV cable between Z120 EBS substation and VR2 Z110E (TBC) substation. Z110E HEX Pump substation This electrical scope includes the following: • Installation of 11kV RMU on Z110 Sub Spur with associated control/comms cabinet • Installation of 11kV skid mounted substation and 11/0.415kV, 2MVA transformer (Z110E Hex Cuddy) with associated control/comms cabinet, • Cut in to existing 11kV 3C cable between RMU on Z110N and on Z110 FWN S/P 7 and terminate on bolted connectors • Installation and termination of 11kV 3C 95mm² XLPE/SWA/PVC cable between 11kV RMU (Z110 Sub Spur) and 11kV substation (Z110E Hex Cuddy) • Supply, installation and termination of 0.6/1kV Varolex (or similar screened) 3C+3E xxmm² XLPE/SWA/PVC cable between VSD and pump motor local isolators. • Supply, installation and termination of control cables between transformer protection enclosure, RMUs and pump skid control/comms cabinets, • Installation and termination of 48 core SMOF fibre optic cable between FOBOTs in Comms panels. 3. Bulk Air Cooler power supply and connection The BAC (bulk air cooler) works in this scope include all electrical power supply to the HV disconnector on the BAC unit. Each of the four BAC units comprise two ~90kW 1000V fan drives. These fans will be controlled by 1000V water cooled VSDs located adjacent each fan installation. Basis is that the existing 1000V distribution is available with sufficient capacity, and Each BAC location will comprise a 1000V substation for fan control. • BAC #1 Z135W (Lower) • BAC #2 Z135W (Upper) • BAC #3 Z120E • BAC #4 Z135E Scope of installation is as follows and similar for each BAC installation: a. Install new BAC substation with associated 1000V liquid cooled VSD starters, b. Install and terminate 1000V 3C cable between existing underground point of supply and 1000V liquid cooled VSD substation, c. Install and terminate 3C 1000V screened cable between VSD and local isolator terminals adjacent each BAC motor
