Electronic Ink Real Time Bus Stop Displays
Tender Overview
About this tender
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is responsible for the delivery and operation of the Transperth public transport network throughout the Perth metropolitan area, comprising more than 325 bus routes and over 13,000 bus stops. To support enhanced customer information services on the Surf CAT route, the PTA is seeking to establish a contract for the supply, implementation and ongoing support of Electronic Ink (e-Ink) Real Time Bus Stop Displays and an associated content and device management solution. The Surf CAT service operates between Stirling Station and Scarborough Beach, providing a high-frequency service across 38 bus stops within the Scarborough Entertainment Precinct and surrounding areas. The proposed solution will enable the reliable, centrally managed delivery of real-time passenger information at bus stops, improving service visibility, customer experience and accessibility for public transport users. The procurement will include the supply of display devices, supporting software and management capabilities required to monitor, update and maintain the solution. This procurement supports the PTA’s commitment to delivering customer-focused public transport services and improving the availability of real time travel information across the Transperth network. How to respond to this tender
A strong tender response is clear, compliant, and backed by evidence. These steps apply to most Australian and New Zealand public tenders.
Read the requirements in full
Open the official listing and download the full tender pack. Note the response schedules, evaluation criteria, mandatory conditions, and the exact closing time and lodgement method.
Confirm you are eligible and it is worth bidding
Check licences, insurances, certifications, and any conformance requirements before you commit. A quick bid or no-bid decision saves days of wasted effort on a tender you cannot win.
Answer every criterion with evidence
Respond to each evaluation criterion directly and back your claims with concrete examples, referees, and past performance. Address the buyer’s stated need, not a generic capability statement.
Lodge early through the official portal
Submit through the source portal well before the deadline. Late or incorrectly lodged bids are almost always rejected, so leave time for uploads, portal errors, and last-minute questions.
