Overview The Shire of Denmark intends to lease part of Reserve 24913, Lot 556 on Plan 71707, within the Ocean Beach Precinct, to Haikam Sihapayaxay trading as Gin Loa by private treaty, for the purpose of operating a kiosk. The area comprises 54m2 and an independent valuation, completed in October 2025, determined the annual market rental value to be $9,000 (ex GST). Contract Terms and Conditions In July 2026, Council agreed to offer a commercial lease for a period of up to 8 years with the following adjustments to the annual rent payable. Term 1 (0-2 years): Rent of $1.00 Term 2 (further 3 year option): Rent at 100% of market value determined by independent valuation at the commencement of the term Term 3 (further 3 year option): Rent at 100% of market value determined by independent valuation at the commencement of the term Instructions to Tenderers A copy of the Council Report relating to the leases can be found in the July 2026 Council Minutes on the Shire's website or at the Denmark Library. Submissions on the above proposals are invited, in writing and addressed to the undersigned, and should be received by 4pm on Tuesday, 4 September 2026.
